Official bio

Pamela Carter is a fourth-generation Arizonan whose great-grandfather immigrated from Mexico to work the copper mines near Globe and became a legal U.S. citizen. Raised in the Arcadia area of Phoenix, she built the nation's largest sports medicine and weight training facility in Scottsdale, training NFL athletes and Arizona State University football players. That work led to her national health and fitness television program, “Get in Shape with Pamela Carter,” which aired for 18 years on TBN, along with several local programs. She holds a master's degree in Communications and Biblical Studies and serves on the board of Help 4 Kidz, an organization that reaches at-risk youth. She represents Legislative District 4 in the Arizona House of Representatives, where she serves as Vice Chair of the House Public Safety and Law Enforcement Committee and has sponsored legislation protecting children from online predators and supporting school choice.
